Join us on Saturday, 13.05, on our journey through the Hebrew Folk Music with the band FOLKADU.
After a successful Album release concert, the Berlin-based band Folkadu, are back in the Grüner Salon as an host and opening band of the weekly Mikro Hiejazz jam session!
Influenced by classical, swing, balkan, klezmer and middle eastern music, the band features with its unique instrumental combination of trumpet, oud, accordion, percussion and bass a fusion of well-known and lesser-known repertoire of Jewish Folk from around the world.
With nostalgic songs in Hebrew, swingy tunes in Yiddish and love songs in Ladino, Folkadu builds a musical bridge between the Orient and Occident, fostering a cultural understanding that is both timeless and highly relevant.
We invite all the Folk music lovers to join them for a jam session after their show!
After the jam DJ Roy Hatarnegol will be playing an uplifting set of mediterranean beats.
