Mit der Band FOLKADU kommt die Magie jüdischer Musik in den Grünen Salon. Ihre einzigartige Kombination aus Gesang, Oud, Akkordeon, Trompete und dem uralten Schofar schafft einen Klang, der Traditionelles mit Zeitgenössischem verbindet und verschiedenste Facetten jüdischer Musik zeigt. Mit einem Repertoire, das sowohl bekannte als auch vergessene Kompositionen und Gedichte in hebräisch, jiddisch und Ladino umfasst, bauen FOLKADU eine musikalische Brücke zwischen dem Orient und Okzident und fördern dabei ein kulturelles Verständnis, das zeitlos und zugleich höchst aktuell ist.

Mit der Veröffentlichung ihres neuesten Albums „Shorashim“ laden Folkadu zur Record Release Party in den Grünen Salon ein, welche durch ein DJ-Set von Alex Stolze  abgerundet wird.

With the band FOLKADU the magic of Jewish music comes to the Green Salon. Their unique combination of vocals, oud, accordion, trumpet and the ancient shofar creates a sound that combines the traditional with the contemporary and shows various facets of Jewish music. With a repertoire that includes both well-known and forgotten compositions and poems in Hebrew, Yiddish and Ladino, FOLKADU build a musical bridge between the Orient and the Occident, promoting a cultural understanding that is timeless and at the same time highly topical.
